OOTD #129

I rarely wear a full black outfit but this was an exception. Love these culottes that I purchased from Sacai. Yes guys, it’s a pair of culottes. But thanks to the fun sized me; it looks like a pair of pants now. Haaa.

All those aside, check out this Prada Wallet on Chain. Omg guys, I LARVE IT!!! Won this from an OOTD contest held by Reebonz Singapore. Frankly, I didn’t put any hopes on winning the contest because I saw other entries and they were equally good. But heyyy, thanks Reeboz SG for choosing me as the winner! Hehe. You had no idea how ecstatic I was!

Tuina Massage @ True Aesthetics

Recently, I was invited by Maggie from True Aesthetics to try out their Tuina massage. For someone who LOVESSSSS massage, of course I said yes! The only issue is that I wasn't sure what Tuina massage is. The massage that I've gone for were mostly aromatherapy massage. So I was really curious to experience it.
I googled and found out that Tuina is actually therapeutic form of massage. It focuses on points and meridian area, helps to lessen the muscle tension and work on blockage that are build up by toxins. Tuina massage typically lasts from 30 mins to 60mins.

Abby was my therapist for that day. She has more than 20 years of experience in Tuina massage. She also speaks fluent Malay; hence communicating with her was easy since I can only converse in Malay and English. I always had difficulties communicating with most of the therapist as they only speak mandarin and very little English.

Before my session commenced, Abby lightly (Read: Lightly) touched my shoulders and she could already tell that it was stiff. I’m like what? Not trying to exaggerate here but based on my past experience, they could only feel that it's stiff once they started massaging my shoulder.

During my session, Abby would always check if I felt any discomfort or pain. To be frank, it was painful considering this was my first time trying Tuina massage. But I’d say it wasn’t painful, painful? The pain was bearable la.

As she pressed and rubbed my left hip, she asked if I felt any pain at that area. Then she proceeds to do the same on my right hip and asked again if I felt any pain. Unlike my left hip, I didn’t feel any pain when she press and rub my right hip. She then explained that I have been using my left hip when I sit. I hate to admit this but yes, I like to rest my hip to the left when I sit because I am such a weirdo like that.

My body felt so much lighter and refreshed after the treatment. Now I could really feel the difference between an Aromatherapy massage and Tuina massage.

Thank you Maggie and True Aesthetics for the kind hospitality! :)

OOTD #128

Heh. Here’s me featuring my new backpack from Gaston Luga!

Gosh, it took me awhile to pick the right backpack for me. I was contemplating between Classic & Praper! Both looks reaaaaally good!

After putting much thoughts, I decided to go for the Praper bag in olive. Just cause I have too many black bags. Ha ha.

I wanted a different color but at the same time, I wanted a color that can be easily matched with other colors too. Ok does that even make sense? Lol. That aside, I love how it looks edgy and classic at the same time!

Praper backpack is available in 3 other color ways.
-          Black
-          Navy & Brown
-          White

Crystal Dia Cheek Stick

Blushers are my favorite beauty product apart from lipsticks and highlighters. As I don’t normally put on full make up, I feel that blusher really helps to make you look healthier and awake. Besides, that’s the only way to fake on having rosy cheeks. HA.

That aside, introducing you the Crystal Dia Cheek Sticks!

Crystal Dia Cheek Stick come in 5 Color Ways:
#1 Indian Pink
#2 Peachy Pink
#3 Coral Pink
#4 Flower Pink
#5 Brown

The one I'm currently using is Coral Pink! This cheek stick is a dual ended blusher and brush, hence making it travel friendly. However, I don’t think I’m gonna use the brush as I felt that the brush picks up the product as I swirl it on my cheeks. I would suggest blending the product with your fingers instead. That way, the product would spread more evenly. BUT it’d probably work with other make up brushes though? Just not the one that comes with it. :/

Here is how it looks like when swatched on my hand.

And here is how it looks like after I blend it.

Urghhh. The photos doesn't do justice, but I promise you it's a very pretty color!

Crystal Dia Dual Shiny Lips

Introducing to you a new beauty line from Korea that has just been launched in Singapore!

Good news for my muslim friends… these products are Halal Certified! Meaning, products are free from any ingredients derived from alcohol and forbidden animals. So hooray to that! Heh.

I will be testing and reviewing one product each month. So remember to keep a look out on my post!

This month, I will be reviewing one of Sunwoo Cosme’s recommended product - Crystal Dia Dual Shiny Lips in Suite Red!

Packaging of this lipstick is sleek. It's a 2 in 1 lipstick. One side is the lipstick, whereas the other is the lipgloss. That being said, you get 2 lipsticks for the price of 1. HA.

Color pay off is quite strong and it glides smoothly on the lips. Staying power... I'd say, it lasted for about 6-7 hours? It leaves a tinted color after I had Nasi Padang for lunch. lol.

On normal days, I would apply a lip balm first, followed by the lipstick. But thanks to Crysal Dia’s Hypoallergenic Vitamin E ingredient, I could skip that step and proceed to applying the lipstick as it offers moisture and light texture for comfortable, natural result. Another thing that I love about this lipstick is that, it didn’t bleed! I hate it every time my lipstick bleeds. Urghhh. So glad that this doesn’t! And I totally love the subtle fruity scent!

I don’t know about you but I’m not a Gloss girl, so I’d usually skip that step. But for girls who love the shiny feel on their lips, feel free to layer the lipstick with the lipgloss to achieve that juicy and kissable lips just like Angelina Jolie! Heh.

Crystal Dia Dual Shiny Lipstick is also available in 4 other colors!:

Flower Pink, Coral Pink, Peach Pink and Beige Brown.

OOTD #127 - Raya edition

Repetitive poses here but hey that's not important. What important is... my outfit. Haha. Please take a moment and admire my Alice Kurung set from Pikat KL. This was love at first sight. I was so attracted to the "structured" sleeves and 3D flower detail along the sleeves. Major loveeee!

OOTD #126

Grew tired of wearing this tartan dress over and over again but I really love the mermaid hem on this dress hence, decided to recycle and wore it as a skirt instead!

Paired this look with my new Bernetta Yingst crossbody bag in navy from MIZZUE! Come in 2 other colour way – Pink and Grey Blue. I chose navy cause… it’s the easiest to match for colour. HA. Sure, I love colours but sometimes I’m just too lazy to think ah. So I always opt for the most basic colour. Lol.

Oh and can I say that this bag is perfect for someone who loves to dump everything into their bag? Compartment is quite spacious considering it’s a small sized bag!

OOTD #125

So happy to have found an ootd kaki at my new workplace! Haha. Thought after I left my previous work place, I will have to stop taking ootd photos because you know… I didn’t think anybody would be free to entertain my nonsense request. But noooo. My colleagues are just like me! We are ootd queens! Bahahaha. Is this considered as job hazard since we are in the fashion industry? LOL.

That aside, I love how my new work place has a few instagram worthy places for ootd as it’s located around the industrial area. For example like this spot here! Found this spot while we were on our way to get lunch. HA.

Drastic Haircut

Ok I’ve been wanting to blog about this the moment I had my locks chopped off la but wtf I kept procrastinating. So yes, I just wanted to say that I finally pluck up the courage to chop off my locks!!!! It all started when I saw photos of Alicia Amin and Shikin Gomez donning the short bob.

Image result for alicia amin shikin gomez

They’re the Asia’s Next Top Model Finalists, in case you’re wondering who they are. OMG I FREAKING LOVE THEM LAAAAA!!! Sad that Alicia was eliminated on episode 5 (correct me if I’m wrong) I was really rooting for her. But that’s okay. I have so much hope for Shikin now! Eh ok ok sorry I got carried away!

Back to where we were. I was so so inspired to have similar haircut! But I was a little hesitant at first. Firstly cause I have chubby cheeks. It would defo emphasize on my cheeks if I were to have short hair. Secondly, I was extremely scared! Last I had cropped hair was at the age of 18! That’s 10 years ago. I consulted my best friend and close friends, they all told me to go for it. Of course some of them were against it cause… sayang kan?! Rambut dah panjang gitu abeh nak potong.

After much consideration, I went ahead with it cause… YOLO! Hahaha. Also cause my hair was fried la ok. I walked into Gene by Ginrich Salon and told the stylist that I wanted a haircut.

“I’d like to have my hair cut.”
“Yes can.”
“As in I wanna cut my hair short… Like really short.”
“Yah can!”

Upon hearing how confident he sounds, I felt at ease. I had so much confidence in him.

I was right! He really did a good job. He was really meticulous. He even did a quick consultation with me and trying to understand what kind of look I was going for before proceeding to cut my hair.
I know I’d regret this later but for now… NO RAGRETS! HA!

Goodbye to my curling tongs and fried hair! New job, new haircut… What’s next? New Boyfriend? Bahahahahahaha. KK no.
